What are you doing now? I am an electrician - 6 years. I do alot of outdoor stuff, hiking, fishing, camping, surfing, and especially (snow permiting) snowboarding, and getting inked. Been living in North California for 3 years now. I love living in Tahoe. The lake reminds me of growing up near Big Mac and the mountains are awesome! It's a short day trip to the coast and it's worth every mile when you get there. Check out Lake Tahoe if you can!!!

Highlights/Memories: I come from Brazil and was a Rotary exchange student in Ogallala
during 88/89. It was wonderful. I've already returned twice to visit the host families I lived with. I am looking for a friend also called Beth, who graduated in 1988. I didn't take part of the graduation, because I left on Jan/89 back to Brazil I am Brazilian and was an exchange student from Feb/88 till Jan/89; had a GREAT time in Ogallala!

What are you doing now? Brian and I have been married for almost 12 years. We've done a lot of moving around, but currently reside in North Platte. We have three wonderful children. Miranda is the oldest and is involved in soccer, softball, basketball, and volleyball. I'll be really glad when she can start driving herslef. She'll be in the fourth grade next year. McKayla is five and will start kindergarten next year. This was her first year for softball and soccer. Brandon will be two in June. He is a handful and is paying us back for everything that we did to our parents. Brian is Vice President of Nebraskaland National Bank. I am currently a fourth grade teacher for the North Platte Public Schools. We plan on making North Platte our home, because we enjoy it here very much. My parents still live in Ogallala and Brian's parents live here in North
Platte so we're very lucky to have our family close by. We enjoy spending time at our cabin at Lake Maloney(unlike Big Mac, it still has water) and camping.
Highlights/Memories: My fondest memories from high school involve Spanish class. I absolutely had a great time on the trip to Mexico with Senora Rodehorst.

Highlights/Memories: I did not graduate with you all. I left in my senior year after giving birth to my oldest daughter but I did go on to finish school. I want to Thank all of those that supported me while I was pregnant in high school and came to visit me and my baby after she was born. Being pregnant and in high school is very hard!! I was lucky to be going to a school where the I wasn't treated with scorn or cruelty. Thank you all!!!!

What are you doing now? I am an Account Executive with McClain Finlon Advertising in Denver. Megan teaches first grade in the Denver Public School System.
Highlights/Memories: My home town will always be Ogallala in my heart. I enjoyed playing sports, learning from the wonderful teachers and participating in the school musical. Senior Prom was great too! Most of all I enjoyed the friendships that were created in such a small community. I get back to the lake around three times each summer and am excited to share these experiences with my wife and children.

What are you doing now? ? I have been working for Legent Clearing for 3 years. The people in my area work with new clients to move their business into Legent. A lot of what I do is work with data to get it into our systems. Denise recently started working for Doane College (Lincoln Campus) as an Associate Registrar. What are you doing now? I attended Ogallala Highschool being an exchange student in the year 1988-1989. The same year there were two other exchange students there. Santiago from Columbia and Monica from Brazil. Withe Monica I'm still in touch. She's
now living in Munich, Germany.
After my student exchange year in Ogallala I went back to school in Switzerland for two more years and graduated in 1991. I started my studies of Law the same year in Zürich, Switzerland. 1995 I went to Belgium for a European Student Exchange programm on European Law. At the beginning of 1998 I graduated from University with a Law degree and started to work at a Bank in Zürich in a department dealing with firm clients. This year I went back to Law doing a Court practise for two years. I'm happy with my boyfriend Lars who lives and works in Munich, Germany.

What are you doing now? I received a BA in Education in 1994 from the University of NE at Kearney. I received my Master's degree in May of 2000 also from UNK. Presently I am a provisonally lincensed mental health professional, and also provisionally licensed drug and alcohol therapist. I work in private practice and have done so for the last couple of years. Also I'm employed with the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Education Program in Kearney in which I travel across 22 counties in central Nebraska educating people on what Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is and how to prevent it. My husband is employed for a company called E-Claims which is an internet clearing house which downloads and
processes insurance claims for people across the country.

What are you doing now? I am currently in Sales, selling Flatbed and Horse Trailers for TMI in Channahon, IL. Still in the Navy- Currently stationed in Northern Nevada where we have chosen to make this our home for the next 10 years or at least until we build our dream house on Big Mac. I’ve lost contact with several good friends from H/S and would like to reconnect with anyone from the class of ’89. Planning a trip back this summer- any word on a 15 year class reunion?
Highlights/Memories: I experienced plenty during my high school years some good –some bad and some I’d like to forget! However I’ll never forget the friends and great times we shared at the Lake partying. Plus driving around with John, Andy, Gabe, Brain, and Scott in the Mcneff Tank! I miss you Andy-Take care.

I got married in 1999 to Tom who is originally from Chicago, IL. We have 2 boys, Taylor who will be 8 in October and Elijah who was born in December 2000 (so right now he's 9 months old). We are very active in the Foursquare Church and Fairfield
Christian School activities as well as Taylor's sports. Tom had a model train
store for 6 years but we closed right after Elijah was born so he could spend

Nursing is such a plentiful field. I have several leads including the
hospital in GI, and possibly even commuting to Lincoln to Madonna. I also plan on finally returning to college to get my BSN while in such an ideal location.

What are you doing now? Tired of working in a dead-end industry of publishing, I am now testing the waters as a sales account director for Kenexa Technology, Inc. Kenexa has developed an entire suite of products and services geared toward helping large organizations hire the right people for the right job, and increase their employees’ engagement (ie satisfaction) to drive performance. I’m enjoying the people I work with, my boss, and most of all the financial opportunities that come with a fast-growing, innovative company. My wife Jennifer is a Nurse Supervisor at BryanLGH Medical Center, in charge of patient admissions and other administrative affairs. Our daughter Molly is keeping us busy with pre-school, swimming, gymnastics, dance, and soccer. Getting out to golf anymore is a challenge, even though my father-in-law and brother-in-law play. I think I made it out four times last year… In the fall of ’06, Scott Thone and I met in Lexington to play 36 holes in a downpour. We were the only two on the course, and I think we drank as many beers as holes we played! Looking forward to playing again in 2007, Thone! Among other things, I’m trying to learn to play guitar. Very slow progress, though, so I may need to invest in some lessons.
Highlights/Memories: It’s funny how your memories and highlights can change as you grow older. On our summer trip out to Denver for Thone’s wedding, my family stopped in Ogallala to look around. My old house doesn’t look anything like it did, the miniature golf course my dad and his friend built was completely torn down except for the booth, and it takes way less time to get from one part of town to the other than I remember. Not really too much I miss except the innocence of being a kid with little responsibility. Don’t let your kids grow up too fast – we all know how difficult “real life” can be, so why start them earlier than they have to? As for memories, these are the lifelong ones: playing rounds of golf before school, my friendships with Scott Thone, Scott Eggleston, and Kelly Archuletta, getting hooked on the music of The Dead Milkmen, D.I., The Cult, and Guns ‘N Roses, and that place that served shaved ice drinks during the summer.

Highlights/Memories: Great teachers, although I remember trying not to go to class as much as possible, but making the best of friends while I was there. Wishing I hadn’t screwed it up and had to leave Ogallala; although I don’t regret having finished school in Colorado either.

What are you doing now? I graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1995 after a 2 year stint in the Army. I worked in journalism for awhile, then worked on boats for awhile. Both were wonderful experiences and sometimes adventurous - including the Army which sent me over to the first Gulf War. I started an internet company 5 years ago which includes a medical search engine. I've been very fortunate with this business and have been able to live in Europe for the last 3 years. I am getting married in September with a wonderful woman, Alina Lupu, who just finished her Master's degree in psychology. We are planning to return to the USA in 2007 where Alina will continue her studies in Psychology - probably in Oklahoma. I missed the last reunion but look forward to seeing everyone at our 20th!! (Has it been that long and are we really that old? - I'm not sure I've grown up yet. Alina will tell you I haven't! = I still clown around a lot.)
Highlights/Memories: I have a lot of wonderful memories of OHS but at the time - I took them for granted. I remember the great parties at The Krajewski's, lunches with Scott Thone, Tim Bailey and Kyle Pierce. I also have a lot of great memories centered around the lake, and would like to note that it's sad now that it basically looks like a big river. moved their corporate HQs from South Dakota to San Diego.
Highlights/Memories: I learned a lot of lessons about life, believing in yourself and those around you during Football Season my senior year. We weren't expected to do anything and we ended up winning a share of the SWC title. I miss those guys on the team a lot, as well as, many others I went to school with.
